  • Please do not type personal information into the assistant. Messages that look like they contain names, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses are refused and not recorded.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: running a free, secure public information service. We do not use your data for marketing or to build profiles, and we do not sell it.

Who we share data with

When you ask the assistant a question, the text of your conversation is sent to OpenAI to search the library and write the answer; if OpenAI is unavailable, the answer is written by Anthropic instead. Passages from the library are sent with it. Exam-board copyright text is never sent. These providers process data in the United States under their API terms, which do not permit them to train their models on it by default; they may keep it for a limited period to detect abuse. Read how the assistant works.

The site is hosted on servers we manage at Hetzner Online in the European Union. Browsing the catalogue, documents and templates does not send your data to anyone else.

Children

The site is for parents, teachers and school staff. It does not ask for and should not be given information about a child. Do not use the assistant for concerns about a child's safety: speak to the school's designated safeguarding lead or your local authority.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to object to our use of it, and to restrict it. Because we do not store questions or link logs to named people, we may not be able to identify data about you, but we will always tell you what we can. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

We update this notice when the way the site handles data changes. The date at the top shows the last review.
